Modular Complex – Grands-Bâtisseurs Elementary School

Opened in 2023, Grands-Bâtisseurs Elementary School quickly faced a shortage of space due to the rapid growth of the student population in the Beauport area. To address this urgent need, the Premières Seigneuries School Service Centre awarded SM Construction the mandate to design and deliver a new modular complex, ready to welcome students at the start of the school year.

The project included the design, fabrication, delivery, and installation of a 14 module modular complex featuring six classrooms, washroom facilities, administrative offices, storage areas, and a janitorial room. The new complex is connected to the existing building by a non combustible corridor, ensuring safe circulation and full code compliance. The facility was designed to provide a functional, comfortable environment well adapted to the needs of the school community.
