The Modular department was responsible for the design, supply and installation of a training center for firefighters.
Everything was done from 10 modified shipping containers. SM Construction modified the containers while our subsidiary Pagui took care of the electricity. Tardif Métal, another subsidiary of the Groupe SM Tardif, supplied the metal structure for the project.
This training center made of containers will allow several types of exercises and maneuvers that are practiced by the fire department.

The project in pictures
For this project, our team :
– carried out the design and installation in accordance with the plans and specifications;
– supplied, modified, delivered and assembled all the containers required for the realization of the project;
– proceeded to the installation of the concrete structure intended to receive the building;
– fabricated and installed all the metalwork: interior and exterior stairs, railings, balconies, etc.;
– supplied and installed all the electrical elements: light fixtures, sockets, generators, etc.;
– painted all containers and equipment after modification and before final assembly.
