SM Construction, a subsidiary of Groupe SM Tardif, is currently seeking a Production Foreman – Modular. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coordinate and supervise a team of carpenters, labourers, and subcontractors in a factory setting. You will ensure the quality and compliance of the work, meet project timelines, and leverage your hands-on experience and strong construction expertise.

Profile sought

You hold a DEP in Carpentry, a DEC in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Engineering, or any other relevant training.
You have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in people management, including several years in a production or manufacturing environment.
You are recognized for your strong planning skills and your knowledge of industrial engineering concepts and terminology.
You stand out for your team spirit, motivation, and dynamic approach.
You have a solid knowledge of occupational health and safety standards (OHS).

Roles and responsabilities

You will leverage your leadership skills to ensure the effective day-to-day management of your team.
You will share your expertise by training, supporting, and coaching employees.
You will read and interpret plans and shop drawings to ensure manufacturing compliance.
You will ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards at all times.

Salary : Competitive salary (not subject to the industry decree)

Work schedule : From Monday to Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
